APPEARANCE OF ACNE OR CLINICAL FEATURES/HOW PIMPLES/ZITS/ACNE/LOOKS LIKE ON THE FACE

Acne lesions are usually found in areas rich with oil glands.
They are: face,shoulders,back and upper neck.
1. The most important sign is the presence of oiliness on the skin(greasy skin or seborrhoea).
2. blackheads:  are seen, they are nothing but the blocked hairfollicles due to excess of sebum and dead cells . Sebum plug is formed which with time becomes black in color and appear on skin as black blemishes.seen in mild to moderate type of acne.
3. whiteheads: they are seen in a moderate to severe form of acne,where the oil glands gets block deep in the follicle due which pores of the affected follicles are blocked to a vey deep level leading to development of white heads.
